Google has launched Nano Banana 2 Lite (NB2 Lite), also known as Gemini 3.1 Flash-Lite Image, an optimized AI model designed for rapid image generation at low cost. Available through Google AI Studio, the Gemini API, and GEAP, NB2 Lite generates 1k resolution images in 4 seconds for $0.034 per 1,000 images.
